Rob Stone MD practiced emergency medicine at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital from 1983 to 2011. Currently he is the Medical Director of Outpatient Palliative Care and Associate Director of
IU Health Bloomington Hospice. Dr. Stone lectures to medical and lay audiences on health care reform throughout Indiana and beyond.
Dr. Stone will try to make sense of the changing landscape of healthcare reform and will look at possible ways forward. In September, 2015 on
60 Minutes then-candidate Trump said, “Everybody has got to be covered. This is an un-Republican thing for me to say...I’m going to take care of everybody. I don’t care if it costs me votes.”
Is there a bi-partisan way to achieve taking care of everybody?
