Cinde Wirth – State Senate District 44 Cinde Wirth is a 7th generation Southern Indiana resident, biologist, archaeologist, small business owner, community leader, and public school teacher who served as a nationally selected Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Legislative Fellow to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018 and 2019.Wirth holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Evansville in Biology and Spanish, a master’s degree from Indiana University- Bloomington in Anthropology/Archaeology, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and STEM Education at Ball State University.Wirth and her husband, Trent, have two adult children; Lauren (25), and Ryan (20). They reside in Downtown Columbus with their yellow labrador, Mango. Dale Nowlin – State Rep District 59 Dale Nowlin was born and raised in Valparaiso, Indiana. He graduated Magna cum Laude from Alma College with majors in psychology and mathematics and a master’s degree in mathematics from Michigan State University. Dale moved to Columbus in 1985 when he began teaching at Columbus East High School. He also taught at Central Middle School for ten years. He currently teaches mathematics at Columbus North High School and is the Mathematics Department Chair at North High School and Northside Middle School. Dale has always felt a call to serve others, whether it is through school, church, or community, and he now hopes to serve Bartholomew County as a state representative. Tiffany Bosley – County Council At-Large Tiffany Bosley is married to David A Bosley. Together they have 5 children. One girl and four boys. She was born in Osceola, Arkansas and later relocated to Columbus, Indiana with her parents James and Victoria Jones. Tiffany is a graduate of Columbus North High School in Columbus, IN and is currently going back to school at Indiana Wesleyan to get a degree in Human Resources. It is Tiffany’s love and compassion for others that brings her to run for County Council at Large today. Tiffany’s slogan is Now is the Time to Act. Address- Listen and address the issues of the people in Bartholomew County, Change polices and budgets to better the county and to Thrive in those changes as a county. She believes that with God at the center of her life and her eagerness to create positive changes she is the perfect candidate for Bartholomew County Council. Olisa Humes – County Council At-Large Olisa Humes, is a 30+ year native of Columbus, who graduated from Columbus North High School in 1990.She graduated from The University of Evansville with her degree in Public Relations & Advertising with a minor in Spanish.She now works for Human Services and Brighter Days Homeless Shelter. She is a proud mother of 3 children, and President of the local NAACP chapter. Olisa has a passion for advocating for those who don’t always feel heard. Claudette Schroer – County Council At-Large Claudette and her husband Jeff are Bartholomew County natives graduating from Columbus Senior High. The couple have two sons and four grandchildren. Claudette and Jeff currently live on and manage the Schroer family farms.Claudette retired from Centra Credit Union corporate office in 2014. During her career she worked in many areas of finance including accounting, business and personal tax preparation, investments, insurance and banking. Claudette and Jeff are third generation members of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clifty, where they were married. Claudette serves as Financial Secretary for the congregation.. With a deep family history in the county, Claudette has served in many roles to continue their family legacy of public service. Claudette seeks to represent Bartholomew County residents as a member of the Bartholomew County Council.
